From Building networks
Its time we stopped acting like children expecting someone else to tell us what to do when it comes to our training. We wait for the boss, we wait for the Government, we wait for a qualification to be developed by academics.. we wait.. Instead we need to take responsibility for ourselves.
Common excuses: “I can’t afford it, I don’t have time. I can’t be bothered.”
Wow and you still want to earn a living doing what you are doing? Well rather than “How can’t I” how about “how can I”?
How could you afford it? Are there other options? How could you make time? Could you ask for other options? And when will you be bothered? When you are forced into it?
All it requires is for you to take responsibility for your own training.
Too many professions and trades have been waiting for the Government to sort out their problems and tell them what to do. Be proactive you are the professionals or trades. How about you tell the Government how it should be directly or through your Associations.
NOW lets see if this post has provoked you enough to make a comment?
