Training is not always the answer

Training can only solve a performance problem if it’s caused by a lack of knowledge and skills. If the issue relates to lack of effective tools, equipment, authority and autonomy in making decisions and risk management or just lack of motivation and incentive - training wont fix it.

Thus in compliance training (humbly after 30 plus years of it) make sure your team has the right guidance, support systems and equipment to do the job you have trained them to do.
