Company: Building Networks NZ Ltd (also referred to as Building Networks)

Application of these terms: Across all business services provided by Building Networks NZ Ltd, and platforms owned by Building Networks NZ Ltd.

Subscriptions

All subscription services on offer by Building Networks are based on a 12-month period.

Upon early termination of subscription, no refunds will be issued for full subscription payments. Renewals will be automatic on your anniversary date, unless advised otherwise in writing, prior to this date.

Subscriptions are sold as individual or team subscriptions, each person named in an individual or under a team subscription is considered the sole user of that service, the service is based upon a single user model, one login per subscriber.

For team subscriptions if a staff member leaves the team the subscription can be transferred to a new staff member, additional subscriptions can be purchased if required. Changes to staff details are the responsibility of the purchaser and must be provided to our office manager.

Public Event Booking and Ticket Terms and Conditions – both in-person and online

Building Networks will accept an order cancellation up to 7 days prior to the event with no charge.

For cancellations for up to 48 hrs prior to the event – 50% event fee will be charged.

Late cancellations or no shows – Full ticket rate will be charged, and no refunds will be issued for those paid already.

We reserve the right to cancel or postpone events with 2 weeks prior notice.

For in-person events – Building Networks is bound by venue contracts to adhere to all venue health and safety rules and regulations, if there are specific requirements from the venue, we will communicate these to all event attendees in advance.

Consulting booking terms and conditions

1 – 1 consultation sessions are offered with one of our subject matter experts by booking by email through office@buildingnetworks.co.nz and unless included in your subscription, must be paid prior to the consultation appointment.

Unless otherwise arranged, consultations are 30 mins in duration and will be conducted remotely via Zoom. You will be invited to a calendar invite and the zoom link will be in the location. No shows for a consultation or on the day cancellations will not be refunded, a reschedule time will be offered at an alternative day and time at the next available opportunity.

General content terms and conditions

Building Networks has taken reasonable care to ensure that the information provided in our course and training material, is correct at the time of writing. Building Networks will not accept any liability for anything done or not done in reliance on the information in this email communication or our course material.

Building Networks reserves the right to change the website, its content or these terms and conditions at any time. The user will be bound by any changes to the Terms and Conditions from the first time the user uses the website following the changes.

Customised Training and VIP Consultation Terms and Conditions

All VIP consultation and training bookings will be confirmed upon payment of invoice only unless prior arrangements have been specifically made with management. An invoice will be issued upon confirmation of the date preferred and will be due within 7 days of issue.

For changes, deferrals, postponements or cancellations less than 14 days prior to the event, there will be no refund offered, an alternative date will be agreed upon for delivery of training.

If national travel restrictions are enforced, or circumstances beyond the trainer’s control occur, that prevent the trainer travelling to you in person, a live online alternative delivery option may be discussed and offered and will be agreed upon on a case-by-case basis.

Online school courses terms and conditions

Courses purchased through our online school are intended for individual use only. We reserve the right to change course content, to update, or replace it at our sole discretion.

Collection of customer data and information and its uses

All personal information that we may collect (including, but not limited to, your name and address) will be collected, used, and held in accordance with the provisions of the Data Privacy Act 2020 and your rights under that Act.

We may use your personal information to:

  • Provide Our Services to you.
  • Process your payment for the Services; and
  • Inform you of new products and services available from Us. You may request that We stop sending you this information at any time.

We will not pass on your personal information to any other third parties without first obtaining your express permission.

Intellectual property

All Content included in any of Building Networks training material, courses and publications including on both the Websites www.buildingnetworks.co.nz and buildingnetworks.learnworlds.com, including, but not limited to, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, sound clips, video clips, data compilations, page layout, underlying code and software is the property of Building Networks NZ Limited, our affiliates or other relevant third parties.

You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, store or in any other fashion re-use material from the websites or training resources unless otherwise indicated on the website or unless given our express written permission to do so by the owner of Building Networks NZ Ltd.

General service terms

We want you to be completely satisfied with the Products or Services you procure from Building Networks NZ Limited. If you need to speak to us about your Order, then please contact customer services on 04 472 1702, or by email at office@buildingnetworks.co.nz. You may cancel an Order that we have accepted or cancel the Contract. If any Specific Terms accompanying the Service contain terms about cancelling the Service, the cancellation policy in the Specific Terms will apply.
